The HEPASilent™ ozone-free technology takes care of airborne pollutants 

The patent-pending HEPASilent™ technology is Blueair's most advanced filtration technology ever. It combines two time-tested filtration technologies - electrostatic charging and mechanical to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns. As a result, it traps even the smallest viruses and microplastics besides dust, pollen, pet dander, bacteria and smoke.

Airborne particles receive an electrical charge that makes them ‘sticky’ – so instead of simply passing through, smaller particles stick to the combination filter.

The HEPASilent™ technology provides a higher particle Clean Air Delivery Rate (pCADR) than conventional methods of only mechanical filtration. This enables the DustMagnet™ 5240i to filter the air at the rate recommended by the industry - 4.8 x per hour (or about every 12.5 minutes) in a room up to 20 m².

Proactively adapts to you and your home

You can control the air quality in your home wherever you are through the Blueair app and smart connected features like "Welcome home" and "Clean air ETA".

Additionally, DustMagnet™ comes with the "Auto" mode function and a smart sensor that continuously monitors the air quality in your home. It automatically increases the fan speed when pollution levels rise and slows it down when the air is clean again.

The air purifier shows the air quality levels for particulate matter (PM) using a colour scale on the air quality indicator.

Last but not least, you can adjust settings like child lock, night mode schedule, LED brightness, and many more remotely via the Blueair app or Amazon Alexa enabled device.
