FAQ's

Is the ion concentration affected by the wind and so becomes less effective?

The highest negative ion concentration in the natural environment is around 20,000 ion/cm³. The C1 generates and keeps the concentration of 2,000,000 ion/cm³, which is 100 times more than the natural environment. This ensures that Airvida stays effective in daily use.

Is Airvida waterproof?

Airvida is not water-proof, contact with any liquid should be avoided. If the C1 gets wet accidentally, please turn the power off as soon as possible and wait until Airvida is fully dry before using it again.

Does the Airvida produce ozone?

The ozone density is fully tested by an independent lab with an excellent result of only 0.007ppm, which is 7.1 times lower than the EU safety standard. Not only is the ozone level harmless, but it has a proven positive effect on air sterilisation.

Will Airvida attract more particles around its wearer?

The ionic air purifying captures the airborne particles and brings them to the ground. There are natural environments that have a high density of ions, such as waterfalls or forests, and these places are famous for fresh air, not polluted air.

Why do I feel static when I touch the carbon fibre brush while the Airvida is on?

The Airvida runs on high voltage internally, so it is possible to feel static electricity when contacting the carbon fibre brush with hands or skin during operation. It’s not harmful because of its extremely low operational current (4~6uA, 1/1000 to harmful level). Airvida is CE certificated, meets any existing safety standard of electronic equipment.

Can I wear Airvida if a have a cardiac pacemaker?

Airvida complies with CE certification of EU, so meets the safety regulations of electronic products. However, if you use a cardiac pacemaker, you should always consult a doctor for permission before using any electronic devices.

What maintenance does the Airvida C1 need?

Airvida does not require any replacement filters. However, because of its effectiveness in bringing particles and dust to the ground, in time there might be an accumulation of particles on the carbon fibre brush. This build-up may influence ion generation, so regular cleaning is suggested. Please do not clean Airvida during operation.

What is the manufacturer's guarantee on the Airvida C1?

The guarantee is 24 months and is given by the manufacturer - Airvida
