The 4-stage high-performance air filtration technology protects you from breathing in harmful particles, viruses, bacteria and fumes

The high-performance 4-stage unique filtration system consists of a fine mesh pre-filter, carbon filter, long-life True HEPA filter and a PlasmaWave® technology. 

Stage 1: The washable pre-filter captures large dust particles and pet hair to enhance the performance of other filters and make them last longer.

Stage 2: The carbon filter filters organic particles from the air that can arise from cooking, pets and cigarette smoke.  This filter protects against unpleasant household odours.

Stage 3: The True HEPA filter removes 99.97% of all dust particles in the air up to 0.3µm small in sizes such as fine dust, allergens, viruses, bacteria, fungi and pollen.

Stage 4: The Winix PlasmaWave^® technology creates hydroxyl molecules that neutralize viruses, bacteria and gases in a natural way, without producing any harmful ozone.  This technology meets the California Air Resource Board’s AB 2276 standard, which is the most rigorous American certification benchmark for indoor air cleaning ozone-emissions.

The AUTO mode drops or increases the fan speed according to the particle amount in the air.  Once the air purifier detects the presence of harmful airborne particles, it adjusts its performance and boosts the fan speed to quickly improve the air quality. 

Winix Zero will alert you when it is time to replace the True HEPA and carbon filters.  On average, depending on the operating environment, the life expectancy of the True HEPA filter is 6-12 months.  The carbon filters need replacing every 3 months. 

Built-in particle sensor for real-time indoor air pollution monitoring

The built-in particle sensor detects airborne dust and ultrafine particles.  It allows the air purifier to display the current air quality in the room by using the 3-colour light system (blue, amber and red).

Winix Zero can operate at a noise level of as low as 27 dB(A) in "night" mode.  This mode turns on automatically as soon as it gets dark in the room thanks to the built-in light sensor.  The "night" mode dims the lights and runs the unit silently helping you sleep better at night and feel more energetic in the mornings.

How often do I need to clean the pre-filter?

It's a good practice to clean the pre-filter once every 14 days.

How often do I need to replace the True HEPA filter?

The HEPA filter should be replaced when the usage time has reached a total of up to 12 months.  The air purifier will automatically inform you when it is time to replace the filter. 

It is a good practice to check the filter once per month and clean it using a vacuum cleaner if necessary. 

How often do I need to replace the carbon filter?

The carbon filter should be replaced every 3 months.  

What is the guarantee on Winix Zero air purifier?

The guarantee is 24 months and is given by the manufacturer - Winix.
