The all-in-one H13 True-HEPA filter for Mars Generation Y air purifier traps at least 99.97% of fine particles 0.3 microns in size, including pollen, dust mites, mould spores, pet dander, bacteria, viruses and fungi.
The activated carbon layer absorbs volatile organic compounds, tobacco smoke and unpleasant odours such as cooking smells.
The replacement filter lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending on the environment. Mars Purifier recommends changing the filter every 6 months (4,380 hours) when used 24 hours a day.

How often do I need to replace the all-in-one True-HEPA filter?
The standard time for replacement is 12 months. In order to maintain the ultimate performance of the unit, it is important to replace the filter at the right time. The change indicator light will come on when the filter needs to be replaced. Mars Purifier recommends that you replace your unit's filter approximately twice a year to maintain its peak air cleaning efficiency. Recommended filter change: 6 months (4,380 hours) when used 24 hours a day.
